Laborers’ Local 1010 LECET sponsors Annual Back to School Block Party with Assemblywoman Catalina Cruz

On September 16th, Laborers’ Local 1010 LECET was enthused to sponsor the Annual Back to School Block Party with Assemblywoman Catalina Cruz in Corona, Queens. Our representatives had so much fun handing out informational pamphlets and 1010 frisbees to community members, as well as answering questions regarding union organizing and workers’ rights. There was even a surprise visit by New York State Lieutenant Governor, Antonio Delgado!. What a lively and fun night, complete with free Covid testing, vaccines, a backpack giveaway, face painting, and a bouncy house for the kids!
